About All Things Democratic

All Things Democratic (formerly All Things Democrat) is a proudly partisan political site that has gone through several iterations since it began in mid-2005. The site was primarily a blog until 2008 featuring talented liberal and progressive bloggers. A classifieds page for Democratic campaign merchandise was added in 2007. A forum replaced the blog after the ’08 election and the site basically coasted for several months on a wave of change...

In August of ’09 the healthcare reform struggle motivated the owner to begin development of a new site (partly because of his own frustrations with pre-existing conditions and inability to get health insurance). The domain name was changed and the site was reborn with a new mission to become the go-to site for Democrats seeking political jobs, internships, volunteer opportunities, merchandise and services. The home page is now an updated, full-featured classifieds application. All ads are free to post, free to browse.

In addition to the Classifieds for Dems, we continue our commitment to the online, lefty blogging community by providing resources to make blogging easier. These resources include pages of the latest news headlines from trusted, left-leaning sources, the latest blog headlines from the top lefty blogs, and a custom search of all articles in the sites listed in both pages. We also have a comprehensive list of freebies (or widgets) to help lefty bloggers add color and content to their site, transcripts of important U.S. Historical Documents, and a categorized database of lefty links. You also agree not to post any copyrighted material unless you own the copyright or you have written consent from the owner of the copyrighted material. Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are also forbidden in the classifieds.

Note that it is impossible for the staff or the owners of this site to confirm the validity of ads posted. Please remember that we do not actively monitor the posted ads, and as such, are not responsible for the content contained within. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information presented.
